Origins 2008
Another great year at Origins 2008 in Columbus, Ohio, has come and gone. Clint and Jodi Black, Chaos Steve, Evil Mike, Matt Cutter, Shane Hensley, and a host of other friends and family were on hand to Get Savage once more.
Dozens of games were run, hundreds of copies of the 2nd printing of the Savage Worlds Explorer's Edition vanished off our shelves, and Solomon Kane (R) was even nominated for an Origins Award. We didn't win, but the competition was tough and we tip the hat to the gang at Kenzer and Company for their win with Aces and Eights.
Below are some of the highlights of the show, as taken by "Chaos" Steve and Michelle Hensley.

Okay, so you see, Clint hit us with...well, I don't want to ruin it, but it was nasty. And my CB's chainsaw lasted exactly one round.
Suffice to say when Clint is running around the dealer's hall buying a couple dozen boosters from the now-defunct HorrorClix line in search of certain minis, you're in a mess of trouble. |

If you play Savage Worlds, you really need to attend Origins. This year was awesome, and next year we have even bigger plans. Hope to see you in Columbus in 2009. :) |
